There is a study out there, which talks about volumetrics, which is the size of the food, compared to the amount of calories in it. Pasta is a very bad food when it comes to this. If you stick with fresh foods you will be OK. </p>
<p>Do not try to starve yourself. If you cut back your calorie intake, your body will adjust itself to the newer levels. This will not work. Also, do not try some low fat diet. This fad is the reason for all of the high fructose corn syrup in the foods. The removed the fat and added this. Calorie content stayed about the same, but they added sugar. Not a very smart move. Just look at how big everyone in America is. </p>
